Scheduling:

The summer league will run from approximately June 6 through July 29.  Playoffs will take place between July 20 and July 29.  Weeknight games on fields without lights will begin at 6:00 pm.

The initial schedule will be created by the league and will consider each team’s blackout dates.  Submitting too many blackout dates may result in a team receiving an incomplete or imbalanced schedule.  A draft schedule will be distributed and errors will be corrected.  Once the final schedule is distributed, the teams are obligated to play on the scheduled dates and times.  Requested schedule changes must be worked out with the opposing coach.  If the opposing coach can not accommodate your request, the game must be played or the requesting team forfeits.

 

Denville Softball’s Summer Travel League

 

Team Roster:

The Denville Summer Travel League is for (ASA B) travel teams and town-based teams.  Teams may roster a maximum of 15 players.  Only players listed on the roster may participate.  If a single program is registering teams for multiple age groups, players rostered on younger age group teams may play up during the regular season and do not need to be listed on both rosters.  No player may appear on two different rosters and no player may participate in two age groups during the playoffs.   Teams using players not on the roster will forfeit all games in which that player was used.  If a team uses a player or players that are too old for the age group in which they are participating, they will be immediately removed from the league.

·         14U Teams: 1996 or later
