12U Blue Devils Win Fall Championship

The 12U Blue Devils finished the 2009 Fall Travel League undefeated capturing their second consecutive Fall League Championship and their second league championship of 2009.

14U Blue Devils Finish 2nd in Fall League

The 14U Blue Devils capped off a great year with a second place finish in the Fall Travel League. The 14U Blue Devils qualified for five championship games in 2009, playing at a consistently high level all year.

A Year to Remember

In 2009, the Denville Blue Devils qualified for 8 championship games, matching the total for the previous four years combined.

The 10U Blue Devils went undefeated through the Spring League Playoffs to earn the right to play for the championship. The Blue Devils came up short in the championship game capturing 2nd place.

The 12U Blue Devils posted a 10-2 record in the Summer League and entered the playoffs as the number 1 seed in the 10-team playoff. After earning a bye in the first round, the Blue Devils won 3 straight playoff games capturing the Summer League Championship. The 12U Blue Devils continued their winning ways by going undefeated in the Fall League to capture their second league championship of 2009.

The 14U Blue Devils got off to a strong start by capturing 2nd place in the Rockaway Memorial Day Tournament. The Blue Devils carried that momentum into the Babe Ruth District Championship, where they lost a one run game in the finals to finish second. The second place finish in the district championship qualified the Blue Devils for the Babe Ruth State Championship. The Blue Devils continued their quality play and captured second place. The Blue Devils posted an 11-1 record in the Summer League regular season to enter the playoffs as the number 1 seed. The Blue Devils went undefeated in the playoffs to capture the championship. The Blue Devils wrapped up 2009 by taking home the second place trophy in the Fall League.
