14U Blue Devils Finish 2nd at Rockaway Township Memorial Weekend Tournament

The Blue Devils joined 19 other 14U teams in the 14th Annual Grand Slam Rockaway Township Memorial Weekend Tournament . The Blue Devils played exceptionally well and captured 2nd place in the 14UB Bracket.

Stackable Sensations Wins Instructional Division

Stackable Sensations posted an impressive 10-2 record to edge out Jay Kay Plumbing (9-3)for the Instructional Division Championship.

Westenberger Mechanical Wins Junior Division

Westenberger Mechanical completed the regular season undefeated and roared through the playoffs in similar fashion. Westenberger Mechanical defeated Union Hill Farms in the finals to take the Junior Division Championship.

Heat Wins Senior Division

After finishing the regular season in third place, the Heat went undefeated in the playoffs and beat the Thunder 5-4 in the Senior Division championship game.

Instructional Divison All Star Game

The 2009 Instructional All Stars have been selected. The players are Melissa Ackerman, Eva Alexander, Sarah Belen, Brianna Bogovic, Nicole Bolan, Christie Conroy, Morgan DeLoreto, Paige Dixon, Adrianna Dos Santos, Vanessa Elliot, Emma Fosko, Cassidy Gavin, Erin Heller, Christine Kochmer, Bridget LaRiccia, Amanda Mahn, Rebecca McAteer, Julia Papas, Madison Porteous-Nye, Jenna Racaniello, Paige Resnick, Kimberly Selle, Kaylie Slomkowski, and Meaghan Thompson.

The game was held at Gardner Field under the lights and the two teams demonstrated some great softball skills.

Denville Summer League Expands to 47 Teams

The Denville Summer Travel League was started in 2005 with five 12U teams. The league has expanded each year adding teams and age groups. This season there will be 47 teams in the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U age groups. Denville is fielding a team in each age group. In 2010, Denville will be adding a 16U division.
