Four Denville Teams Compete in the Sparta School's Out Tournament

June 24, 2007 - Denville entered teams in the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions in the Sparta School's Out Tournament that took place this weekend. The Sparta Tournament represented the first action for the newly selected 8U team. They had an impressive first showing by winning one game and dropping two close games by one run each. The 10U team entered the single elimination portion of the tournament as the number 1 seed out of 16 teams. The 12U team entered the single elimination portion of the tournament as the 7th seed out of 25 teams. The 14U team entered the single elimination portion of the tournament as the 12th seed out of 27 teams. The 10U team advanced the furthest on Sunday taking second place.
